Hikvision Vandal-Proof Access Control Released.
Hikvision Vandal-Proof Access Control – Hikvision has released its DS-K1T502DBWX-C vandal-proof access control solution.
The unit combines access control, 2-way audio for intercom and app, and video security to simplify security infrastructure and enhance operational efficiency, while ensuring a low total cost of ownership.
The unit is rated IP65 against dust and water and IK09 against impact, while the use of zinc alloy materials increases resistance to corrosion.
There’s support for multiple authentication methods (M1 card and DESfire cards, PIN), remote control via the Hik-Connect mobile app, and the ability to connect to an external access controller via Wiegand protocol.
Video intercom functions are via SIP protocol – supported SIP servers include Brekeke, miniSipServer,FreePBX, Asterisk, 3CX, ELASTIX, and PBX ware. Meanwhile, RS-485 communication provides connection for external card readers and for calling elevators.
The DS-K1T502DBWX-C supports AP mode and has press calling button to management centres, indoor station, specified indoor station, or Hik-Connect App.
Other features include a Linux operating system, a 2MP camera with a fixed lens with a horizontal field of view of 110 degrees, H.264 and H.265 compression, and support for 256GB of onboard SD storage.
There are Fast ethernet and Wi-Fi interfaces, there’s a lock control, an exit button, a door contact input, an alarm input, an alarm output, a tamper, an RS-485 output and a Weigand connection.
Card capacity is 100,000, event capacity is 300,000, operating temperature is -40 to 70C, power supply is 1A 12V DC or 24V DC with a consumption of 12W.
