Hills Limited has appointed Garry O’Connor as vendor business manager, security, based at its Lidcombe offices in NSW.

O’Connor joins Hills from ADT Security, part of Tyco Integrated Fire and Security, where he was employed as global account manager, Pacific. 

According to Hills general manager, security, Joanna Burke, O’Connor has a wealth of experience in security, having worked in the industry for eight years, and extensive distribution knowledge experience gained from employment with Avnet and ID Warehouse.

“Hills is thrilled to have someone with Garry’s experience,” Burke said. “His expertise in sales and sales management will be a tremendous asset as we continue to strengthen Hills’ security division, and focus on creating innovative ways to grow and develop our operations.”

O’Connor said he was delighted to join Hills and to represent its innovative products and services in a very competitive and innovative market place.

“It is a tremendous opportunity for me to apply my passion for the security industry to the Hills businesses," O'Connor said. "I look forward to working for a company that’s a beacon for sales and service in the security industry.”
