INTEGRATED Control Technology has commenced work on a major upgrade to its Auckland HQ that will nearly double the available floorspace.
The NZ-based access control and automation manufacturer reports that continued rapid growth around the world has seen at its headquarters has reached a premium.
“Although we only moved to new purpose-built premises a little over two years ago, continued expansion means we’re already bursting at the seams,” said ICT’s new global head of sales, Richard Hawker.
“Plans to extend the premises began last year, and construction commenced this week and building is anticipated to take 9 months. Once completed, we will have an additional 1490m2 of office and production space – almost double the existing room.
“While there’ll be a lot of digging, drilling and some giant concrete slabs going up, customers can rest assured that we are not scaling back operations – it will still be business as usual as we continue to design, manufacture, and support, cutting edge technology and the best products in the industry.”
