ICT Releases New Firmware Updates For Protege – ICT’s latest firmware updates for Protege WX (v.4.00.2187) and Protege GX (v.2.08.1487) have been released and the team said they deliver enhanced performance, improved reliability, and new features.

According to ICT, updating to the latest versions for Protege WX and GX provide improved system performance and stability, better overall security and reliability, and access to features designed to streamline building operations.

A key addition is the door bypassing feature, which allows users to bypass a physical or virtual door, keeping door position and bond sense inputs open without triggering alarms for ‘door forced’ or ‘door left open’. It’s ideal for situations where a damaged door must remain open until repairs are completed.

To download the firmware updates, log into your ICT your website account and then go to Module Firmware and select either Protege WX or Protege GX.

Full details of the improvements, features, and resolved issues can be found in the Protege GX Controller Firmware Release Notes v. 2.08.1487.
