Invercargill City Council CCTV Upgrade Project.

Invercargill City Council CCTV Upgrade – Invercargill City Council has committed to enhancing public safety and security by investing in the modernisation of the city’s CCTV infrastructure.

According to council’s request for tender, this initiative is in response to growing security concerns, the need to replace and upgrade the existing legacy network, and the desire to foster stronger partnerships within the wider community. To enable this, ICC require the installation of a modern CCTV network, utilising the combination of existing and new infrastructure throughout Invercargill.

The CCTV network will be installed over four stages and ICC is looking to select a supplier to carry out Stage 1 supply, install and maintenance of the network, with the intention to appoint the successful tenderer as the preferred supplier for the subsequent stages, based on their performance in completing Stage 1 (no guarantees are provided by ICC around the quantity or value of the subsequent phases work).

Council reiterates that this specific opportunity is for the supply and installation of the Stage 1 integrated CCTV network and through-life maintenance and support for this system.
