ISC West Best Product Winners Announced.

ISC West Best Product Winners – SIA has announced winners of the 2025 New Products and Solutions (NPS) Awards, presented at ISC West in Las Vegas last week. The awards recognize innovative security products and services across multiple categories.

Vaidio 9.0 AI Vision Platform earned the Best New Product Award for its effective combination of artificial intelligence models and intelligent compute management, specifically designed for loss prevention and theft detection.

Meanwhile, the Judges’ Choice Award was presented to Robotic Assistance Devices (RAD) for its SARA AI Security Agent, which enhances security monitoring through autonomous threat detection, interaction, and incident escalation. CyberLock received the Merit Award for its ongoing support and contribution to the NPS Awards.

Other award winners by category included Sure-Fi for the Sure-Fi Access Pro Bridge, a wireless bridge that reliably extends access control signals across distances. In wired access control hardware, Safetrust won for its IoT Neural Sensor, providing secure reader infrastructure while Accessia received an honourable mention for the Accessia Reader, a streamlined access control device.

Xonar Technology’s TruePort won the antiterrorism and armed aggressor category, offering detection and management of security threats in high-risk environments. The Biometrics award went to Intel RealSense + Ones Technology for BioAffix Gate Vision, a facial authentication solution. The same team also won the Mobile Solutions category with BioAffix Vision Mobile, an on-the-go biometric identification tool.

Commend Americas won in Communications and Networking for Ivy Live Translation, providing multilingual, real-time translation for security communications. In Convergence and Integration Solutions, AURA’s Auto Guard Dispatch took the top award, simplifying automated dispatch processes for guards.

In Cybersecurity, SWEAR Security won for its data protection solutions against digital attacks. Dormakaba’s EntriWorX Insights took the top prize for Design and Diagnostic tools, streamlining door and access installations. Enhanced Project Delivery was another win for Vaidio via its 9.0 solution, highlighting streamlined integration in deployments.

XSponse’s X-Shield won in Environmental Monitoring, a system providing real-time environmental alerts. Secure Passage earned honourable mention with Truman, another environmental monitoring tool. Honeywell took the Fire/Life Safety award for its CLSS Compliance Manager, providing automated compliance verification. Honeywell’s CLSS Cloud-Connected Horizon earned honourable mention for remote life safety monitoring.

The LEAF Community (Wavelynx, rf IDEAS, Idemia) won Identification Management for a unified credentialing approach. SPOT AI Remote Security Agent secured the Intrusion Detection category with AI-driven monitoring; Hexagon’s HxGN dC3 LidarVision received honourable mention for its LiDAR-based detection technology.

CyberLock won Key and Equipment Management for its ValidiKey Pro, a secure key management system. Dormakaba’s CenconX OTC Safe Lock won the Lock and Key Solutions category, while Securitech ASSA ABLOY’s PARAMAXX lock received honourable mention. In Law Enforcement/Public Safety systems, 3Si Security Systems won with DirectToDispatch, providing real-time incident information, while Eagle Eye Networks earned honourable mention for Eagle Eye 911 Camera Sharing.

Managed Services were won by ADRM’s DEFENDER security monitoring solution, while Allied Universal’s Unified Command Centre was recognized as runner-up. Threat and Risk Management Software went to Bearing for its risk management platform, with honourable mention going to Sign In Solutions for their Risk Insights software. Meanwhile, Threat Detection and Response Solutions was won by RAD’s SARA, with Xtract One Gateway earning honourable mention as a weapon-detection system.

In Video Analytics, Lumana’s Video Intelligence Platform took top honours. Axis Communications’ ARTPEC-9, a new generation of camera chipset technology, won Advanced Imaging Technologies. Hanwha Vision America’s 4CH AI Multi-Sensor Camera, powered by the NVIDIA Jetson platform and integrated with WAVE VMS, won for Surveillance Cameras, with Axis Q1809-LE Bullet Camera receiving honourable mention.

Spectrum Camera Solutions’ F200 Series explosion-proof housing secured the award for Surveillance Hardware. The Video Surveillance Management System category was won by Monitor Computer Systems’ Sentinel platform, designed for efficient alarm and video management.

The tilt in this year’s awards was unquestionably towards AI, analytics and smart security management systems. This shows where the judge’s heads are at and also highlights the sorts of products being pitched in 2025. What’s our pick? There are a few standouts, including AURA Auto Guard Dispatch, Xponses X-Shield, SPOT AI Remote Security Agent for monitoring stations, but SARA, (speaking autonomous responsive agent), is pretty difficult to top. Products like these will allow security teams to do way more, way faster.

What did ISC West tell us about the future of electronic security solutions? Without question, it tells us our solutions are about to undergo a brain transplant that will see their capacity for crunching data analytics go to a whole new level. The speed at which events can be detected and verified is going to weaponise security inputs. Whether law enforcement and security response teams will have any hope of keeping up with this turbocharged event reporting is a whole other question.
