Melbourne Water Corp Seeks Static and Mobile CCTV Solutions To Protect Multiple Reservoirs, Treatment Plants And Sewage Plants.
Melbourne Water Corp Seeks Static and Mobile CCTV Solutions – Melbourne Water Corporation has released a request for proposals for the supply of static and mobile security CCTV units to support monitoring and protection of critical water infrastructure across metropolitan Melbourne.
Melbourne Water manages a large network of reservoirs, waterways, treatment facilities and flood protection assets across the region. The authority is responsible for the management of Melbourne’s major water supply catchments, sewage treatment plants and drainage systems, as well as maintaining more than 10,000 kilometres of rivers and creeks. Many of these operational assets are in remote or distributed environments where mobile and rapidly deployable surveillance capability can assist with asset protection, site monitoring and incident response.
Melbourne Water is seeking proposals for fixed and mobile CCTV security units capable of supporting surveillance requirements across its operational footprint. Static units are likely to support permanent monitoring of critical infrastructure sites, while mobile units will provide flexible surveillance capability for temporary works, remote locations or emerging operational risks.
The procurement process will be conducted through Melbourne Water’s Zycus procurement platform. All clarifications or questions must be submitted through the Zycus eForum and security integrators should note that access to the full RFP will be by invitation.
This Melbourne Water Corp Seeks Static and Mobile CCTV Solutions closes at 2pm Victoria time on April 16 — you can find the Zycus system here and the original tender here – there’s more SEN news here.
