Melbourne Water Preparing CCTV Tender – Melbourne Water Corporation is preparing to release a tender for the supply and installation of CCTV hardware and supporting infrastructure as part of the opening of a new public park.
The system is intended to enhance visitor safety and protect public assets through continuous surveillance and incident monitoring. The procurement will cover the supply of outdoor-rated surveillance equipment, mounting components, cabling, and accessories, as well as full installation, integration, and commissioning of the CCTV network. The forthcoming RFP will provide technical specifications and performance requirements.
Melbourne Water is a Victorian government-owned statutory authority responsible for the management of the city’s water supply catchments, treatment plants, major water and sewerage infrastructure, and drainage systems.
The organisation manages over 9000 kilometres of waterways, water treatment and storage facilities, sewerage networks, and flood protection infrastructure. Melbourne Water also plays a key role in environmental stewardship and open space management, including the development and care of parklands and shared community spaces.
Melbourne Water says that a formal Request for RFP will be published shortly on the Buying for Victoria platform to allow suppliers to prepare for the upcoming procurement process.
