Milestone Systems XProtect R1 2024 Delivers Worthwhile Enhancements.
Milestone Systems XProtect R1 2024 – The latest enhancements of Milestone’s XProtect have been released in version R1 2024, including enhancements to cyber security compliance and XProtect Rapid REVIEW, along with updates to the Husky IVO management client, smart client, web client and mobile client.
According to Mark Shannon, BGW Technologies’ national product manager, there are a few key features that integrators and end users will appreciate.
“Continuing its focus on delivering the most secure, compliant, and reliable system, Milestone has adapted a new set of programming tools to ensure XProtect meets international cybersecurity standards,” Shannon said.
“Cyber threats are growing exponentially, so having the confidence that your VMS is doing everything possible to protect your data is essential for your peace of mind.”
Shannon said the updates to XProtect Rapid REVIEW, which include cross camera tracking, offer serious performance enhancements.
“This capability uses the camera’s geolocation set up in XProtect allowing administrators to locate objects across adjacent or proximately positioned cameras more rapidly,” he said. “Gone are the days of having to flip back and forth between camera feeds. XProtect now does it for you.”
“Enhancements have also been added to Husky IVO, which now covers viewing stations, and recording and management servers that mean users will be able to streamline their hardware setup and maximise the performance of their XProtect VMS solution.”
