MOBOTIX Appoints New BDM For Australia

The addition allows for veteran MOBOTIX BDM, Dean Hobin, to focus more on the remaining Australian states and New Zealand; to further support the company’s rapid growth in the region.

Fairclough brings serious industry experience to the MOBOTIX team, gained over more than eight years in previous roles on both integrator and distributor levels. His most recent position was with Seadan Security & Electronics.

“I’ve experienced the product sales pitch from the ‘other sides’ and understand the value of offering honest, concise and cost effective solutions to customers. It’s the best way to generate repeat business,” Fairclough said.

“I’ve always wanted to work with a superior product suite like Mobotix’s, so when the opportunity to join them was offered to me I didn’t hesitate.”

Fairclough is a big supporter of IP CCTV technology and plans to take on an industry leadership role over time. “It amazes me that some customers still consider using analogue PTZ cameras in this day and age, when we have Mobotix hemispheric megapixel technology just waiting to be understood and installed. I want to help Australian businesses to tap into this new technology.”

“Ryan is a great addition to our team. His experience and understanding of the distributor and integrator sides of our industry will be welcomed by all our customers,” said Graham Wheeler, MOBOTIX business development manager for Asia Pacific said:

Fairclough has recently completed several weeks of product training at MOBOTIX’S headquarters in Germany and started his new role in Australia earlier this month.
