New Ajax Doorbell From DAS Coming Soon.
New Ajax Doorbell From DAS – New Ajax Doorbell from DAS delivers Ajax installers a video doorbell with integrated AI, as well as a PIR sensor and app control.
According to Ajax, DoorBell’s 4MP camera features HDR and IR illumination, giving a range of up to 6 metres day or night. There’s in-house noise and echo cancelling solutions, while enhanced sound output enables users to talk and hear clearly in noisy environments.
Equipped with a PIR sensor and built-in AI, the device accurately detects movement and recognises people, animals, and vehicles with what Ajax says is a very low level of false alarms, allowing the device to operate as a component of perimeter protection.
Ajax Doorbell communications are handled via JetSparrow and Ajax Cloud, so access to the video stream is available within seconds, and notifications arrive with no delays. To record the video, users can complement DoorBell with Ajax NVR or make use of Ajax Cloud Storage, one of Ajax Services.
JetSparrow is Ajax’s proprietary encrypted video transmission technology and delivers a fast VMS experience. The company says that thanks to JetSparrow streaming technology, “navigating the local HDD archive feels as smooth as browsing cloud storage and as a result, browsing the archive becomes remarkably efficient, and the live view initiates without any delay”.
A key strength of Ajax Doorbell, according to the Ajax team, is the device’s monster Wi-Fi comms range — up to 500 m in line of sight. Ajax says this is up to 5 times more in comparison with competitors’ solutions. And if Wi-Fi connection is lost, DoorBell has a fallback communication channel with an Ajax hub — the Jeweller and Wings wireless protocols.
