DALLMEIER Smatrix DMX1600 is a new 16 channel Hybrid DVR that can record analogue and HD IP camera streams with triplex functionality, ONVIF compliance, and an open platform architecture to simplify 3rd party hardware integration. It features integrated RAID 5 storage, H.264 compression, real time 25 fps recording @D1 on all channels, and can house up to 10 hot swap 2.5 hard-drives internally. Smatrix DMX1600 series is ideally suited for applications requiring real-time recording, expanded storage capacity, low power consumption, and maximum integrity of video footage. Using a release code, the basic version with 8 free allocatable video channels can be expanded by up to 8 further free allocatable video channels giving a maximum of 16 channels in total.The DMX 1600 has a compact design (2HU) and is designed for mounting into a 19-inch rack. It features PentaplexPlus functionality giving simultaneous real-time recording and streaming, live display, playback, and remote access, along with hybrid recording: H.264, MPEG-4, MJPEG and audio compression of MPEG-1. Bit rate is up to 2 Mbps with analogue cameras and up to 4 Mbps with IP Cameras while resolution is SD (up to D1) and HD (up to 1080p), while megapixel is supported up to 8MP. The frame rate per channel is up to 25 fps at with analogue cameras and up to 25 fps with IP cameras.Other features include Integrated Privacy Zones for analogue cameras, integrated motion detection for analogue and Dallmeier IP cameras, integrated live browser access and UTC compatibility and an integrated storage system able to handle up to 10 integrated 2.5-inch HDDs.There’s also RAID 5 functionality, with Easy-Change in case of HDD failure, a Linux operating system on Flash memory for greater reliability and faster start up times and a low power consumption of 80W to reduce running costs and save reduce environmental footprint.
