New ICT Protege Access+ App for Mobile Access and System Control.
New ICT Protege Access+ App – ICT has released New ICT Protege Access+, a mobile application designed to enhance the functionality of its Protege access control platforms, including Protege WX, Protege X, and Protege GX.
Protege Access+ allows users to present mobile credentials, manage building systems remotely, and answer video intercom calls via a smartphone or tablet. The app supports ICT mobile credentials and can receive video calls from Protege Entry Stations, allowing users to remotely authorise access from anywhere.
Protege Access+ provides centralised control over GX systems, with functionality including arming and disarming of alarm areas, status checks, and management of lighting, signage, HVAC, and door locks.
The new interface includes expanded features such as a quick-access site dashboard, the ability to customise credential appearance via the credential portal, and support for multiple credentials stored on a single device. Access can be toggled manually using an on-screen badge button, providing an alternative to proximity-based entry.
Security features include multi-layered authentication, encryption, and built-in mitigation against mobile phone loss or theft. Administrators can manage visibility of manual door commands and set permission levels based on user role or site requirement.
The new Protege Access+ app is available for download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. ICT provides an online setup guide to assist with configuration which you can find here – or read more SEN news here.

- Manual access badge toggle for non-proximity entry
