New Products At Security and Integrate Expo – What We Liked.

New Products At Security and Integrate – We got a look at many of 2024’s new products at Sectech Roadshow in May but there were some new things at the Sydney show that caught our eye.

These included some enhanced controllers from Gallagher we weren’t expecting, Bosch’s very tidy Solution 4000 alarm and access control panel (more on that here), a couple of familiar-looking cameras on the Inner Range stand (more here) and an extraordinary spread of camera technology from Hanwha that we’ll be coming back to shortly.

We also like Dormakaba’s IP safe lock, the Triton multi-sensor, a familiar-looking wireless alarm system from Dahua, capable wheeled robots from Ultimate Security, and a neat residential tower entry solution from ICT. There were also lateral application cameras like water level detection for flood prone areas from Hikvision, as well as Siemon cabling gear on the Wesco Anixter stand.

We also saw Aetek networking solutions, Tecom Discovery at the Pumphouse, new pro grade alarm sensors from Bosch, stacks of new IP camera gear from TP-Link, clever in-camera AI from TVT, the latest analytics from Network Optix clever VMS, Aervision AI and machine learning, and Genetec Security Center SaaS, which is now hosted in Australia on Azure.

Permaconn was highlighting the latest version of its Patriot monitoring solution, Bosch was showing a neat integration between Solution 6000 and Permaconn wireless, Wesco was showing Iristy analytics, Vivotek was showing cameras and its edge analytics and its VSS video management system, as well as Vortex and Kisi, which is a U.S. manufacturer of cloud-based access control and a tight Vivotek partner.

Geutebruck was showing its highly evolved G-SIM management solution, along with an integration with Aidant AI and computer vision, Motorola was showing Pelco solutions and verified integration with Tier-1 manufacturers including Genetec, while S1 Monitoring was showing video verification systems.

The next event on the ANZ security calendar is Security & Government Expo, held in partnership with ASIS ACT and sponsored by Gallagher. SAGE opens at the Realm Hotel in Canberra on November 21 and brings all the latest security solutions to users and installers in the nation’s capital.

You can learn more about SAGE and the ASIS ACT seminars and annual dinner (registration opens soon!) right here. As always, there’s more SEN news here.
