As part of the project digital video multiplexer recorders (DVMRs) manufactured by Dedicated Micros will be combined with the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags” />Torrance, Calif., company’s LiNC-NET access control system.

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office” />

The idea is that end users will be able to verify a user’s ID photo with a live digital image from the DVMR and in the event of an alarm, images can be displayed.

“We believe this new union will provide added value for managing video,” says Dedicated Micros vice president of marketing Don Taylor.
