Optic’s Mobile CCTV Attracts Defence

Optic Security Group’s mobile CCTV solution has been accepted for inclusion in the 2022 Australian Defence Sales Catalogue, which showcases selected products and services from the Australian defence industry.

“This is the first year that Optic Security Group has been featured in the catalogue – we submitted an application after a key law enforcement client invited us to put forward our mobile CCTV surveillance unit for listing,” said Mark Lloyd, Optic’s managing director, ANZ.

“These units are a very successful capability, and we’re overjoyed that they are now featured alongside Australia’s leading defence sector products and services,” Lloyd said.

Optic Security Group’s mobile CCTV surveillance units are network platforms that facilitate the connection of IP enabled devices, primarily for remote CCTV location surveillance. They are tailored to suit the individual requirements of clients with many customisable options available.

Features include:

* An anywhere-everywhere 24×7 mobile design
* Infrared or thermal capabilities
* Motion sensing in areas outside the camera field of view
* HD recording with instant alarm notification and post-event evidence
* Rapid deployment and 10-minute set-up.

Having benefitted by continuous development over a decade of use by law enforcement in some of the toughest environments in Australia, recent upgrades to the units include a new 4m galvanised mast with multiple lock-off points and increased security, a Motorola Reaper HD LPR camera, improved solar panel capabilities, an internal generator and multiple access points.

Designed and manufactured in Australia, new units are made to order and delivered in 3 months.
