Orange City Council Seeks Alarm Monitoring – Orange City Council has gone to tender seeking alarm monitoring and alarm response services.
The tender seeks suitably qualified contractors for monitoring, scheduled, response, special event and security services across Orange City Council’s facilities and building portfolio. The tender states the general intent of the contract is to “deliver reliable and high-quality security services to council”.
Council manages multiple administrative and sports facilities, including the Orange Civic Theatre, Orange Function Centre, Orange Regional Gallery, Botanic Gardens Function centre, as well as multiple community halls and other locations, many of which are likely to be included as part of the alarm monitoring and response contract.
Council also has 31 CCTV cameras in the Orange CBD located in Summer Street, Lords Place, Peisley Street, Anson Street, Sale Street, McNamara Street, Colvin Lane and Post Office Lane. A live feed of image streams is available to NSW Police based at Orange Police Station.
