PMT Security Delivers Integrated Security and Communications – PMT Security and Communications has completed a comprehensive integrated security and communications infrastructure project for a critical services facility on the Gold Coast.
The 12-month program involved supply, installation, and commissioning of a multi-system fit-out, delivered on time and within budget under a unified contract.
Selected through competitive tender, PMT was engaged to manage the full scope of security and communications requirements.

The system deployment included an Inner Range electronic access control and intruder detection with encrypted HID Seos credentials supporting 40 doors.
On the video surveillance side, an end-to-end Avigilon IP CCTV surveillance system was installed comprising 40 internal and external dome and multi-head cameras, and integrated intercoms across 8 key points.
PMT also installed over 56,000 metres of Siemon CAT6A cabling, 1300 network outlets, 600 metres of Siemon OM4 fibre, full CAT3 telephony, RF backbone, and MATV infrastructure.
The company also collaborated with consultants to refine the design and improve infrastructure performance. All components met or exceeded client specifications, and the site was delivered fully commissioned.
“Being able to work with one contractor across the full scope of works simplified the project management side of things significantly, and provided a high level of control,” said a project spokesperson.
