ProCCTV Sold To Security And Automation Provider For Undisclosed Sum.
ProCCTV Sold To Security And Automation Provider – Queensland-based alarm and CCTV installation business ProCCTV has been sold to a local security and automation provider for an undisclosed sum.
The sale doesn’t include staff but does include a demonstration vehicle and the company’s fully operational digital marketing solution.
ProCCTV’s founder and former managing director, Daniel Tuttle, said the buyer was a local security and automation provider which wanted to keep a low profile but intended to continue running the business as usual.
“The successful sale was based our strong ethics, our focus on the Ajax product range, high profitability and our rebound marketing strategy, which has our phones ringing off the hook because of our digital media presence and #1 Google placement,” Tuttle said.
“My thought process with ProCCTV is that I’ve never owned a security company, only a marketing company, but marketing is ultimately what led to the successful growth and now the mutually beneficial sale of the business.
“Building a quality saleable security business has been very satisfying at a personal level,” Tuttle said.
According to Tuttle, the terms of the sale meant he would not be active in the residential market for several years but will continue providing security services in the commercial/construction sector through the ProSite business.
ProCCTV installs alarms, access control, video intercoms and CCTV split 60 per cent residential and 40 per cent SME and turned over $A2 million last year with a return on sales of around 25 per cent.
