QPS Seeks Security Services Panel For Statewide Operations.
QPS Seeks Security Services Panel – Queensland Police Service has released a tender to establish a standing offer arrangement for the provision of security services across the state, covering a broad range of operational environments.
The arrangement, issued through the Protective Services Group, will form a panel of suppliers to deliver ongoing services including static guarding, patrols, alarm response and related security functions. Work will be issued as required, with no guaranteed volume, reflecting a flexible procurement model aligned to operational demand.
From a delivery perspective, services will be required across multiple locations with diverse use profiles throughout Queensland, with suppliers expected to provide on-site capability and respond to varying service requirements over time.
The structure is intended to standardise and streamline how security services are delivered across QPS facilities and operations, supporting consistency in service quality, compliance and reporting.

Queensland Police Service is the state’s primary law enforcement agency, responsible for policing a geographically large and operationally diverse jurisdiction. Its activities extend beyond frontline policing to include custodial environments, administrative facilities, training sites and critical infrastructure. The Protective Services Group supports these functions through provision of guarding, access control and asset protection across government buildings and high-risk sites.
This proposed security services panel is likely to support a mix of fixed and mobile deployments, with requirements varying from static guarding at controlled facilities through to patrol and response services across distributed assets.
Suppliers will also be required to maintain appropriate systems and processes for the secure handling of operational information, reflecting the sensitivity of environments in which services will be delivered.
This QPS Seeks Security Services Panel tender closes July 14 – there’s more information here or read more SEN news here.
