QSS has appointed Ian Fuller as national major project & support manager, while Finn Smith has been appointed as the new Victorian branch manager.
In his new role Fuller will assist QSS branches with all national or major projects in designing, specifying and other services like FAT and SAT, as well as supporting integrators where required with large-scale installations.
Fuller has more than 19 years’ experience in the electronic security industry. Most recently he was Victorian branch manager for QSS and prior to this he joined Pacific Communications 2003 as the Rail project manager completing the rollout of CCTV on rolling stock.
At the completion of this project he became branch operations manager responsible for the daily running of the sales branch as well as managing CCTV rollouts for national customers such as Coles and Target.
In 2006 Fuller became Victorian project operations manager successfully winning the Metro Trains CCTV System, which over time has become the largest DVTEL system in Australia. This included project management, design, commissioning and technical support.
Meanwhile, Finn Smith joined QSS in January 2016 as Victorian sales manager. He has been in the security industry for more than 10 years in various integrator roles, the last being at ADT, and he brings first-hand knowledge of challenges integrators experience dealing with consultants and end users. Smith will use this knowledge to improve the service QSS provides to integrators in order to better meet their requirements.
Finn Smith, QSS
Smith’s last role was outside the electronic security industry as Victorian business development manager at AE Smith, where he was responsible for securing mechanical services contracts for clients such as Flemington Racecourse, Interactive data centres and Crown Casino.
Smith will be responsible for the day to day operation of the branch where his primary focus will be on strengthening relationships with integrators and assisting his team introducing new products to market.♦
