TWO of the best known security integrators in Queensland, Sunstate Security Systems and Ambush Enterprise Group Brisbane (Amentco), have merged to formed Amentco Sunstate Group, one of Australia's largest privately owned security firms.

“For all of our existing customers the merger will bring about a huge advantage as the Amentco Sunstate Group will be able to offer the most complete set of security and communication products, services and knowledge across a large number of business verticals and residential markets,” says Steve Ward, former CEO of Sunstate Security, who will act as group managing director, assuming day-to-day control of business operations.

“We are excited to move into this new phase and look forward to continuing to service and support customers’ electronic security needs,” Ward said. “We anticipate a smooth transition for the merger of these 2 businesses with minimal impact to our service offering and full support to all our existing customers.”

The Amentco Sunstate Group business operations will be based at the existing Sunstate Security head office – 870 Boundary Road, Coopers Plains – and the primary contact numbers for both Amentco and Sunstate Security will remain the same. For enquiries about the merger, call 1300 784 763. ♦
