SECTECH Roadshow is at Royal Randwick Racecourse on May 4 (register here!) and after a recent tour of the facilities, organisers say they are easily the best ever.
The SecTech Expo space, Camera Shootout demo room and seminar presentation room are located together, with multiple breakout spaces offering stunning views of Sydney City to the north, ideal for a planned live demo of Dallmeier Panomera.
SecTech Camera Shootout includes a big PTZ demo in Sydney and the views across the racecourse are tailor-made to test the prowess of powerful PTZs from the best manufacturers in the world. All SecTech’s rooms look across the racecourse and the facilities for exhibitors and visitors are simply outstanding, with plenty of free parking, easy loading, a beautiful environment and excellent support staff.
“Randwick Racecourse is impossible to beat as a SecTech venue,” said organiser, John Adams. “From the perspective of CCTV people, it’s a great venue with a massive, layered target area – and when it comes to amenities, visitors and exhibitors are going to absolutely love it.”
SecTech Roadshow Camera Shootout will see all the biggest CCTV brands going head to head including Mobotix, Honeywell, Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview and Sony, Bosch, Panasonic, Pelco, Vivotek and Samsung. The PTZ demo will be a highlight – PTZ demos are hard to do and getting competitors of this calibre at a venue with huge depth of field is a fabulous opportunity for installers and end users who need to compare PTZ performance.
As well as our panel session on Securing Networked Security Devices, visitors will also see a presentation on developing standards in video content analytics and IP camera standards from IEC members, Vlado Damjanovski and Olly D’Souza.
SecTech Roadies comprise Camera Shootout sponsors Hills and Genetec, as well as Video Alarm Technologies, Honeywell Fire & Security. Bosch Security Products, LSC, CSD, Pelco, Video Security Products, C.R. Kennedy, Hikvision, ICT, Dahua, Mobotix, Tyco Security Products, BGWT, NX Witness and Q Security Systems.
SecTech Roadshow brings people and product together in a relaxed and informal environment, showcasing brilliant technology and serving up drinks, nibbles and masses of great prizes. SecTech visits 5 cities in 2 weeks, drawing more than 1500 installers, integrators, consultants and end users to check out the latest electronic security solutions.
