Reconeyez Wireless Outdoor Security – Distributed in APAC by Vision Intelligence, Reconeyez is a wireless security solution designed for rugged external applications.
The system combines CCTV, PIR detection, artificial intelligence algorithms, lighting, long battery life supported by solar, with low power wireless communications to create security solutions for tough sites.
The Reconeyez system is composed of multiple components. The Reconeyez Detector is a compact camera and detection system with high dynamic range that detects intrusion events and captures detailed imagery of alarm events.
Reconeyez Detectors use PIR sensors and signal analysis to track thermal signatures across the monitored area. Once motion is detected, the Detector activates the appropriate camera for available light conditions, captures an image and generates an alarm.
The system also features a 4G communication gateway called the Bridge, a multi-frequency radio transceiver that connects Reconeyez detectors with the Reconeyez Command Centre. Making installers lives easier, there’s a 3-step installation that offers easy directional fine-tuning for wireless.
Meanwhile, Reconeyez Bridge combines 3 modules: short-range radio, long-range radio and battery. With 3 inputs and 5 outputs, the Bridge I/O also allows installers to integrate third-party systems and sensors with Reconeyez detectors.
Another part of the system is a siren which acts as an autonomous audiovisual intrusion deterrent, while a robust wireless keypad is designed for arming and disarming the Reconeyez system on construction sites and in other harsh environments. Supporting the system is the only ASIAL-accredited 24/7 monitoring provider (AS2201.2) for construction site security cameras.
Other features of the Reconeyez system include a wireless range of 500 metres line of site and 100 metres in obstructed environments using a proprietary low-power mesh technology. Detectors have a strong range of 35 metres, while cameras operate at 1920 × 1080p and can store 2000 raw images internally. Detector cameras include a 940 nm near infrared flash that can reach 35 metres in 0 lux.
Meanwhile, operating temperature is -40 to 60C, the units are IP67-rated against dust and water, battery life is 400 days or 50,000 events, while the easy addition of a solar panel, extra battery pack or mains charger extends this considerably.
