Rick de Jong Joins Sturdie Secure Technologies – After a 15-year tenure with Fredon Security / Securitas, Rick de Jong has re-joined the Fredon Group as national general manager of Sturdie Trade Services’ Secure Technologies Division.

In late 2019, Securitas acquired Fredon Security, and de Jong continued his role under the Securitas banner as general manager ACT until mid-2024 when he was appointed national operational excellence leader for Securitas Technology.

In late 2022, Fredon acquired Sturdie, which like the Fredon business started from humble beginnings. Sturdie was established in 2006 in Adelaide and has grown to offer a national footprint to customers of its Electrical and Secure Technologies Divisions.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue my working journey and at the same time, to an extent, to be returning to a business where it all began 15 years ago,” de Jong said.

“In my new role, I will be overseeing the entire Sturdie Secure Technologies’ business and am confident that I will be able to help drive the business to even greater success.”

Sturdie Trade Services is a leading electrical and electronic security integrator based in Adelaide in South Australia. You can learn more about Sturdie here or read more SEN news here.
