New RISCO Wireless BWare 2-Way Dual Tech Detector Delivers 15-Metre Detection Range.
New RISCO Wireless BWare 2-Way Dual Tech Detector – RISCO’s new RWX515DT040A is a wireless dual-technology detector from the BWare range. It combines passive infrared (PIR) and K-band microwave sensing for 15m detection over a 90-degree coverage area with mounting heights from 1.8m to 2.5m.
The detector incorporates active infrared for anti-mask detection and is fitted with wall and cover tamper switches. It operates on 2 CR123 3V lithium batteries, with a typical service life of 3 years. RF transmission is at 433.92MHz, with immunity from 80MHz to 2700MHz at 10V/m in line with EN50130-4, while current draw in standby is 16mA.
Detection performance is supported by convex lens optics and RISCO’s patented true temperature compensation. Additional features include anti-cloak functionality and white light immunity. The detector is rated to operate between -10C and 55C and is housed in a 120 x 63 x 44 mm enclosure.
RISCO’s BWare range supports both wired and wireless installations – the wired variant includes RISCO Bus for configuration and servicing, while the wireless model includes a 2-way RF link.
