Organisers have released the expo floorplan for Security & Government Expo, to be held alongside the ASIS ACT seminars and dinner, at the Realm Hotel in Canberra on November 25.
Sponsored by Gallagher Security, SAGE 2021 is a one-day pop-up expo that brings the latest solutions to security professionals in the nation’s capital (attendees/delgates pre-register here, exhibitors pre-register here). The event incorporates the ASIS ACT seminars and the SAGE ASIS Dinner. This year’s keynote will be Nicholas Martin, head of property and security services at AGL Energy, who will speak in the expo hall on “Converged Security Programs”.
In accordance with health advice prevailing on November 25, numbers in the exhibition and seminar spaces will be closely managed and the ASIS seminars will be live-streamed around the venue to facilitate social distancing. Other COVID safety procedures will include masking, distancing in the expo hall, hand hygiene stations, contact tracing, elevated venue ventilation rates, and the presence of COVID marshals.
All attendees are encouraged to be fully vaccinated 2 weeks before the event – attendees and exhibitors from NSW should note that it’s certain only fully vaccination people will be able to cross the NSW/ACT border late November – the NSW/ACT border opened November 1. Importantly, the latest advice is that NSW/ACT COVID regulations are now in lockstep, with NSW 88 per cent fully vaccianted, while ACT 93 per cent fully vaccinated.
