Salto XS4 Eco Lock Smart Locker Solution – Salto’s XS4 Eco Lock is a smart electronic locker and cabinet lock designed for rapid deployment and secure access control across individual storage units. The device is intended for retrofit installations in environments requiring fast and reliable keyless access, without the cost and complexity of hardwiring.
The lock is engineered to work within the Salto smart access ecosystem, supporting mobile credentials, RFID cards, and digital keys via BLE and NFC. Users unlock doors by presenting authorised credentials to the device’s reader, which incorporates a multi-colour LED to indicate locker status. The solution supports access rights programming through Salto software, as well as audit trailing via the Salto Virtual Network (SVN) and BLUEnet wireless communications.
Installation is plug-and-play with no drilling or rewiring required. The lock’s fully enclosed electronics and battery pack are protected inside the door for added resistance to tampering. The system includes configurable locker modes such as personal assignment, free assignment, scheduled automatic openings, and emergency access options. Low battery status is communicated via keycard or wireless alerts, and battery changes do not require dismounting of the locker door.
The XS4 Eco Lock is suitable for wooden and steel lockers and supports external power options if required. It offers break-in resistance to DIN 4547-2 Class C and supports installation on left or right-hinged doors.
