Satellite Security Wins Perth Zoo – Satellite Security Services has won a contract to undertake maintenance, repairs and monitoring of alarm systems at Perth Zoo.

Satellite Security Services is a security integrator sed at Kardinya near Fremantle and specialises in alarms, access control, automation, video surveillance and monitoring.

Satellite has a wide range of blue-chip clients including City of Kwinana, City of Cockburn, City of Fremantle, Christian Brothers College, Gold Corporation, Anglo Gold Australia, HBF (WA), Mindarie Regional Council, Rottnest Island Authority, Solargain, Perth Zoo, RASWA (The Royal Agricultural Society of WA), City of Canning, City of Melville, City of Mandurah, St Barbara Gold Mines, Barrick Gold Mines, Anglicare, Stargate Shopping Centres and many more.

Perth Zoo is a 41-acre zoological park in South Perth, Western Australia with a team of around 250 that welcomes 750,000 visitors each year. The zoo opened in 1898 and houses around 1258 animals of 164 species, as well as an extensive botanical collection.

Perth Zoo has 3 main zones – Australian Walkabout, Asian Rainforest and African Savannah – with a few minor exhibit areas (Lesser Primates, South American birds, Main Lake, Galapagos Tortoises). There are multiple buildings and structures across the site.
