The Seagate Exos X 2U12 is a petabyte-scale, rack-mounted block storage system with advanced data protection. Up to 12 SSD or HDD drives and dual controllers can be supported in a 2U rackmount enclosure, supporting more than 1000 cameras.
Exos X self-healing storage technology ADAPT (advanced distributed autonomic protection technology) and autonomous drive regeneration (ADR). When integrated with video surveillance network, this intelligent data storage enables centralized storage, multiple concurrent video streams, optimized data protection, and security and is capable of scalability, high performance, and data protection for years to come.
High availability features include ADR drive support, dual hot-swap controllers, drives, fans, power supplies, dual power cords, hot standby spare, automatic failover and multi-path support. Advanced features include virtual pools, thin provisioning, SSD read cache, encryption, auto-tiering, snapshots, asynchronous replication.
