Wollongong CCTV Maintenance Services

Wollongong CCTV Maintenance Services – Wollongong City Council has gone to tender seeking CCTV maintenance and support services for its public surveillance system.

The Wollongong City Council CCTV system was one of the first to use IP cameras back in 2009, with the solution built around council’s dedicated fibre LAN running under Crown St Mall and the city centre.

The system links Wollongong Police Station, Wollongong City Gallery, the main monitoring station in an office building on Crown St Mall, Council’s main administration building on Burelli St, the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre, the RTA regional office and other elements, including Wollongong’s famous Blue Mile of city beaches.

Wollongong’s CCTV system is constantly monitored and is used to initiate and manage real time response, making it’s reliable operation paramount to the safety and security of the area.

This tender closes on November 30 – you can find out more about the CCTV maintenance and support services tender for Wollongong City Council here.
