Security Alliance Australia Announces SecTech Products Including Airfob And Ajax.

Security Alliance Australia Announces SecTech Products – Security Alliance Australia has announced some of the key products visitors will see on its booth this May, including Airfob cloud access control, Ajax Curtain Outdoor Jeweller, and Ajax DoorBell.

Airfob Cloud Access Control is a mobile-first solution that eliminates local servers and controllers. Access credentials are managed through Airfob Pro, a web portal offering remote configuration, real-time tracking of events, and user activity across multiple sites. Administrators can define detailed access permissions, set up mobile or RFID credentials, and manage elevator and door access centrally. The system includes attendance tracking, providing hourly site occupancy data, and monitors user and device activities. Administrators can track login history and configuration changes through the Airfob Pro dashboard.

Ajax’s Curtain Outdoor Jeweller is designed for perimeter protection, providing narrow-zone outdoor detection up to 12 metres with 1700 metres of system comms. The detector combines dual PIR sensors with a Ka-band microwave sensor, requiring both PIR sensors to detect motion simultaneously before an alarm is activated, reducing false alerts from environmental factors. The integrated SmartDetect software analyses thermal patterns, enhancing the detection of actual threats.

Temperature compensation delivers accuracy between -25 and 60C, while sensitivity settings can be adjusted remotely via the Ajax app, tailored to specific environmental conditions. Curtain Outdoor Jeweller communicates wirelessly up to 1700 metres through encrypted Jeweller technology, including robust anti-tampering features like anti-masking, an accelerometer-based tamper alarm, and encrypted frequency hopping to prevent interference. The device is rated IP55 for weather resistance, operates on two CR123A batteries providing up to 3 years of life, and offers remote status monitoring.

Ajax DoorBell integrates video doorbell technology with built-in AI and PIR sensors. It features a 4MP HDR camera providing clear images day and night through IR illumination up to 6 metres. Integrated noise and echo cancellation enhance audio clarity. The AI capabilities of DoorBell allow it to accurately differentiate between people, animals, and vehicles, significantly reducing false alarms. Communication with Ajax Cloud is managed by proprietary JetSparrow technology, enabling quick access to live video and archived recordings with minimal latency. Ajax DoorBell also boasts a robust Wi-Fi range of up to 500 metres line-of-sight, considerably outperforming typical market standards. A secondary communication channel via Jeweller and Wings protocols ensures connectivity with an Ajax hub in case Wi-Fi is disrupted.
