Integrated security system provider Creative Vistas Inc. says it will acquire dataBahn Inc. of Farmers Branch, Texas, for undisclosed terms.

Founded in 2002, dataBahn provides satellite-based Internet, voice and data services to the emerging broadband mobile communications market, as well as installing and servicing IP networks and telephony.
Its Mobile Internet Satellite System is considered a cost-competitive alternative to T-1 networks.
Creative Vistas Chairman and CEO Sayan Navaratnam said in a statement that dataBahn’s products will integrate with its security services and also expand its dealer base in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags” />North America.
“It allows us to offer a cost-effective cutting-edge mobile communications solution to our customer base, which provides us with the potential for a lucrative and a unique recurring revenue base,” Navaratnam said.
“It will allow us to broaden our product line in a substantial way through the use of the Internet.”
