Sektor Seeks Brisbane-Based BDM For Physical Security Portfolio – Sektor Australia is seeking a business development manager for its physical security solutions portfolio, with the role based in Brisbane and offering a hybrid work arrangement.
Physical security sales manager Tom Kinkade said the position is focused on supporting continued growth across the company’s security business.
“The role involves building and managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue across Sektor’s physical security offering, including CCTV, video management systems and access control,” Kinkade said.
“The successful applicant will manage an existing client portfolio while developing go-to-market strategies and tracking market trends to support sales performance.
“The position also requires close engagement with vendor partners, including managing campaigns and accessing technical and commercial resources to support customer outcomes. Internally, the role will work across teams to deliver tailored solutions, supported by pre-sales, staging and configuration services.
“Candidates are expected to have experience in business development and account management, along with a working understanding of electronic security technologies. The role calls for the ability to meet sales targets, analyse market conditions and manage multiple priorities, supported by strong communication and organisational skills.”
According to Kinkade, experience in technology distribution is considered an advantage, along with familiarity with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools. A relevant qualification in business, marketing or technology is preferred.
