SNP, which has
held the security contract for Sydney Airport for 40 years, is the country’s
largest privately-owned security company and full service provider.
The company’s
foothold in Queensland has been consolidated by new contracts with the
Southport Parklands and the new building for Queensland Health.
Established clients in Queensland include Australia Post, Boeing, Prouds and
IBM.
SNP Managing
Director, Tom Roche, says the Queensland expansion is a key to SNP
Security’s strategy to grow and retain its position as the country’s leading
integrated security provider.
“We have a
dominant and respected positioning in the Sydney market, and we are growing
rapidly in Melbourne and Canberra as well, so the opening of our new Brisbane
office is fully in accord with our vision of being at the top of the security
industry in this country for a long time to come,” says Tom.
“Queensland
presents multiple opportunities for the professionalism of a company such as
SNP.”
Growth in the
Queensland market will be spearheaded by Andrew Noble, an acknowledged
electronic security expert. As branch manager, Noble will manage the Harbour
City project in PNG, from concept and design recommendation, the preparation of
a fully functional and technical specification, to installation and on-site
project management.
The first stage
of the Harbour City project will be to secure the main entry and exit points
with automatic gates, a Lenel Access Control System and Avigilon CCTV.
