SEKTOR is now the sole distributor of FLIR Security solutions in Australia, covering enterprise and thermal product lines.

With Sektor’s track record in delivering solutions for mission critical security applications, the FLIR brand is positioned for growth in Australia. Under the new arrangement, Sektor is appointing 5 additional staff who will be laser-focused on servicing existing clients and creating new opportunities across the FLIR security portfolio.

FLIR is also expanding local operations with the return of Peter De Ieso in the capacity of FLIR Security BDM for the ANZ region, as well as another key hire, soon to be announced.

“As the sole distributor, Sektor is best positioned for significant growth with FLIR Security,” said Avi Gerbi, vice president of FLIR’s Global Enterprise Security business. “Sektor’s increased investment will help provide an even-better customer experience and expand our reach.”

Meanwhile, Tom Kinkade, sales manager for Sektor’s Security Division, said Sektor was looking forward to expanding its partnership with FLIR Systems.

“With FLIR’s local investments in talent and Sektor’s FLIR-focused team of 10, it has never been a better time to be a FLIR Security partner in Australia.”
