South Australia Police Seeks Electronic Security Panel For State-Wide Projects Worth $A4 Million.
South Australia Police Seeks Electronic Security Panel – South Australia Police is seeking to establish an electronic security panel contract as part of a broader effort by its Physical Assets Services Branch (PASB) to deliver capital works up to $A4 million directly.
The tender seeks one or more qualified contractors to support a wide range of electronic security projects across SAPOL sites throughout metropolitan and regional South Australia. The panel contract will be valid for a maximum of 5 years, comprising an initial term of 3 years with an optional 2-year extension at SAPOL’s discretion.
Under the proposed panel arrangement, contractors will be expected to supply and install a variety of electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control systems with associated barriers and doors, fibre and data cabling, duress systems, Gallagher security products, and 24/7 alarm monitoring. The contract also includes provision for full end-to-end services—encompassing security audits, system design, installation, integration and ongoing maintenance.
Suppliers may submit offers to deliver the full scope of services or to provide select elements only. They may also nominate to work across the state or within specific regions. SAPOL will give preference to contractors capable of servicing not just metropolitan Adelaide but also regional areas including the Eyre Peninsula, Far North, Fleurieu Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Limestone Coast, Mid-North and Yorke Peninsula.
According to SAPOL, the panel arrangement is intended to streamline procurement and ensure rapid deployment of compliant electronic security solutions across its diverse property portfolio. The contract supports PASB’s self-accreditation model, enabling it to manage capital works directly without reliance on central government delivery agencies.
