Southern Cross University Seeks Safety And Security – Southern Cross University has released a tender seeking a suitably qualified provider to deliver safety and security services across its campuses in Lismore, Coffs Harbour and the Gold Coast.
Scope includes provision of static guarding, mobile patrols, alarm response, incident response and event security, along with support for access control systems, after-hours coverage and related operational security functions.
The successful provider will be required to demonstrate capability in personnel management, reporting, emergency response and compliance within a complex, multi-site environment.
The tender is for an initial 3-year term commencing 2 February 2027, with options to extend for 2 further 1-year periods.
Operationally, the contract spans key university facilities including the Lismore campus, National Marine Science Centre in Coffs Harbour and the Gold Coast campus, requiring coordinated service delivery across geographically dispersed locations.
Southern Cross University is a public university operating across northern New South Wales and south-east Queensland, with campuses, research facilities and specialist centres supporting teaching, research and community engagement.
