Suprema FaceStation F2 Fusion Multimodal Terminal – Suprema’s FaceStation F2 is a multimodal biometric terminal combining visual and infrared face recognition with fingerprint, mobile access, and RFID card authentication.
Designed for high-performance access control applications, the device offers a contactless solution suitable for hygiene-conscious environments and demanding security settings.
FaceStation F2 features Suprema’s fusion matching technology, combining visual and IR sensing to deliver highly accurate face recognition. With a false acceptance rate (FAR) as low as 1 in 10 billion, it supports up to 50,000 face templates and 100,000 fingerprint templates. Deep-learning AI algorithms ensure performance is maintained regardless of ethnicity or facial changes.
The terminal also supports dual-frequency RFID credentials including MIFARE, DESFire, FeliCa, HID Prox, and iCLASS SE/Seos. Mobile credentials can be delivered via NFC or BLE. It can detect users wearing face masks and supports anti-spoofing through live face and fingerprint detection. Integration with Suprema’s thermal camera allows temperature screening.
Designed for indoor and outdoor use, FaceStation F2 is IP65-rated, supports wide temperature ranges (-20C to 50C), and has a recognition distance of 0.5m to 1.3m. The 7-inch IPS LCD (800 x 1280) provides clear visual feedback, and the system supports multiple networked access configurations through BioStar 2 software.
Security features include secure boot, encrypted biometric data storage, and full support for OSDP V2. Interfaces include Ethernet, RS-485, Wiegand, relay output, USB, and tamper detection. A relay output and multiple TTL inputs allow flexible system integration.
