Sure-Fi Launches DS011 Access Pro Bridge Long Range Wireless Access Control Interface.

Sure-Fi Launches DS011 Access Pro Bridge Long Range – Sure-Fi has released its DS011 Access Pro Bridge, a wireless interface designed to extend access control infrastructure between the control panel and field devices without the need for physical cabling.

This is serious kit – it offers a wireless range of up to 1 mile through obstructions and more than 50 miles line-of-sight. Importantly, it operates in the noise floor using frequency hopping spread spectrum across 72 channels.

The system consists of 2 factory-paired units, enabling immediate deployment without pairing configuration. The Access Pro Central Interface connects directly to the control panel, while the Access Pro Remote Interface is installed at the door or peripheral device location, including card readers, keypads and receivers.

Communication between the units is handled wirelessly, supporting both Wiegand and OSDP protocols alongside relay-based control functions. The system supports a single Wiegand channel (D0, D1, GND) and a single OSDP channel (OSDP A, OSDP B, GND), enabling compatibility with modern access control devices, including OSDP Verified readers.

In addition, each unit provides 2 Form C solid state relays and 2 relay inputs, which can be used independently of the access control interfaces for functions such as door monitoring, request-to-exit inputs or other relay-triggered operations.

A key capability is support for 2 four-state supervised inputs, with resistance values replicated at the control panel, effectively replacing wired connections. This allows installers to maintain supervision integrity while eliminating the need for physical cabling over long distances.

The Sure-Fi Access Pro Bridge is designed for challenging environments. You get 1 mile (1600 metres) through obstructions and more than 50 miles line-of-sight – that’s 70 clicks.

Communication is secured using AES128 encryption, with operation in the 902–928MHz band using frequency hopping spread spectrum across 72 channels. The system delivers a link budget of 163dB and receiver sensitivity of -133dBm.

Power is supplied at 12V DC, with operating current of 0.06A idle and 0.4A during transmission, and peak power consumption of 4.8W. The unit supports a 12V sealed lead acid battery for backup, with integrated charger and UPS functionality. Battery charge voltage is 13.75V maximum, with trickle charge up to 0.125A.

The system includes RF link alert relay outputs and LED indicators at the central unit, providing status visibility. Configuration, diagnostics and firmware updates are handled via the Sure-Fi app using Bluetooth connectivity.

Designed for installation flexibility, the units support DIN rail mounting or direct wall mounting, with compact dimensions of 90mm x 135mm x 32.5mm. The device is rated to IP20 and operates across a temperature range of -40 to +85C, with storage down to -55C and up to 125C, and humidity tolerance of 0 to 85 per cent non-condensing.
