Surelock McGill Abryll Multi-Rated High-Security Lock Protects Against Forced Entry, Blast, Ballistics And Fire.
Surelock McGill Abryll Multi-Rated High-Security Lock – Surelock McGill’s Abryll is a high-performance single-point surface-mounted locking system certified to international standards for forced-entry, blast, ballistic and fire protection.
Designed for high-security applications, Abryll combines stainless steel construction with a 30 x 20mm bolt providing a 37mm throw. The surface-mounted design is intended to maximise locking strength, while the mechanism has been tested to more than 1 million operating cycles.
Abryll supports multiple entry, locking, bolting and egress configurations, allowing the locking system to be configured for different security and life-safety requirements.
Entry options include key and lever handle, access control with lever handle, combination lock with lever handle, and an external key-lockable lever handle or hasp for panic exit applications. The system accommodates rim and profile cylinders, which are ordered separately.
Locking can be configured for automatic deadlocking when the door closes, providing a storeroom function, or manual deadlocking for classroom-style operation. A no-deadlocking configuration is available for panic and emergency exit applications. Bolting can also be automatic upon door closure or manually operated.

Egress options include a life-safety panic bar, emergency push pad or emergency lever handle, with each emergency configuration providing single-operation exit. Other options include key and lever handle, thumbturn and lever handle, break dome with thumbturn and lever handle, and access control with lever handle.
Optional monitoring allows bolt and lock status to be reported to a security or access control system, while Request to Exit can also be included.
There’s an external key override can be provided for operation during power failure, while cylinder guard protection is available from Surelock McGill’s tested and accredited range. Break dome protection can also be fitted over thumbturn and lever handle arrangements where controlled emergency egress is required.
Abryll can be configured to secure automatically or manually when a door closes, allowing the same locking platform to support applications with different operational and security requirements.
The stainless-steel construction provides corrosion resistance and durability, while the surface-mounted architecture and range of certified protection capabilities make Abryll suited to high-security doors where resistance to physical attack and environmental threats is required.
