Surex Security Integrates Integriti And Hikvision – Surex Security has completed an electronic security integration for AUSREO’s new Wollongong facility, delivering an integrated access control, CCTV and intercom solution aligned with the site’s operational requirements.

The solution includes access control based on Inner Range Integriti, Hikvision NVRs and a mix of fixed bullet and 360-degree cameras for site coverage, Akuvox intercoms for gated entry points, and HID credential readers across controlled doors.

AUSREO is an Australian manufacturer and supplier of engineered steel reinforcement products used across commercial, infrastructure and civil construction projects. The Wollongong location supports manufacturing, processing and logistics functions, requiring perimeter control, monitored access points and clear situational awareness across production and yard areas.

Surex Security was engaged to design, install and commission the security systems as part of the broader build, ensuring the technology integrated cleanly with daily operations without increasing complexity for site staff. Systems were configured to provide controlled access, visual oversight and streamlined entry management while remaining scalable for future operational changes.

According to Jon Mangos, the focus was on delivering a practical, reliable security platform that supports day-to-day workflows while maintaining a high level of protection across the site.

“Integration across all subsystems allows AUSREO to manage security centrally and efficiently,” Mangos said.
