A: SEN has had an enquiry from an end user in Victoria seeking a system capable of capturing vessel registrations and speeds as they pass along a river.
From our perspective, capturing registrations is the easy part of this application – the river is 50-60 metres wide at the point registration capture is required.
Speed is the trickier element of the video content analytics and is likely to be based on the time taken for an object to break multiple boxes in the scene – that means there will need to be some customisation, unless a system like this has been set up on the George’s River near Revesby…
