♦ Teknocorp Seeks Security Technician – Teknocorp is seeking an electronic security service technician to join its dynamic team.
Experience with Gallagher, Challenger, Integrity, Avigilon, Milestone, Genetec, would almost certainly guarantee you an interview.
Teknocorp provides a range of leading edge electronic security solutions for aged care, hospitals, government departments and a broad range of commercial clients. Our solutions incorporate electronic security, IP CCTV, access control, and healthcare applications.
The company is locally owned with its head office based in Melbourne’s West near the airport and it’s experiencing consistent growth across all business sectors.
The role reports to the service manager and involves the servicing and maintaining of electronic security systems. This will cover IP CCTV, access control & alarm systems together with nurse call and medical sector applications.
As a successful candidate, you will conduct reactive service and pro-active maintenance work as well as being involved with installation and commissioning of new projects.
* Provide both reactive service & proactive maintenance work, undertaking scheduled maintenance and provide condition reports.
* Conduct minor installations of security equipment
* Engage with our sales team to provide expert knowledge of security solutions.
* Fault finding on a variety of systems, from smaller systems through to complex integrated security systems.
* Being part of the on-call roster team.
The successful candidate will ideally have a track record of experience in security equipment installation and electronic fault finding of IP CCTV, access control & alarm systems.
A high level of understanding of networking infrastructure would also be an advantage.
Other essential requirements include:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* An ACMA cabling licence
* White card, industry trade certification
* A current, valid Victorian Security Licence
* A current Driver’s licence
* An understanding of OH & S issues
* EWP licensing desirable
