Toowoomba Hospital Security Tender Released.
Toowoomba Hospital Security Tender – John Holland via ICN have invited expressions of interest for tenders relating to the New Toowoomba Hospital project.
The current tender opportunities include all inground electrical works, including ICT, security, fire and services diversion, which closes on November 30, as well as a separate tender for site security, which closes on October 12.
The Queensland Government, through Queensland Health Capital Division (HCD) have appointed John Holland Queensland under a managing contract to perform the design, construction, commissioning, and completion of the New Toowoomba Hospital.
John Holland will be performing design development activities until approximately mid-2024 before submitting a final offer to Queensland HCD to commence the construction works.

The New Toowoomba Hospital will deliver:
New front of house services
An expanded patient flow and transit lounge
An additional 23 emergency department treatment spaces
An additional 20 same day / bed alternatives
An additional 118 overnight beds and 8 new birthing rooms
An additional 4 operating theatres, 1 cardiac catheterisation laboratory and 2 endoscopy rooms
Additional outpatient consultation rooms and diagnostic rooms
Expanded medical imaging, pharmacy and pathology
Expanded administration, education and training and staff amenity areas
Expanded facility support services.
