Traka’s latest generation of electronic key cabinets, the Touch Pro series, brings updated industrial design, flexible deployment, and centralised management to key and asset control. Building on nearly three decades of experience in electronic key management, the Touch Pro range supports secure handling of physical keys, vehicle keys, and access cards across standalone or networked environments.
The system supports 4 cabinet sizes, ranging from 5 key positions up to 180 (or 360 using double-density configurations). Each cabinet features a modular layout with interchangeable receptor strips available in locking, audit-only, and high-density formats. These allow administrators to configure each cabinet to suit changing requirements without overhauling hardware.
User interaction is managed through a 7-inch touchscreen that provides intuitive access for authorised personnel and administrators. Authentication options include RFID cards, unique PINs, and biometric fingerprint readers, giving sites the ability to adopt security mechanisms aligned with policy or risk. Temporary access credentials can also be issued for contractors or visitors.
Central to the system is the Traka iFob, a nickel-plated brass fob uniquely identifying each key set. When used with locking receptors, the iFob enables granular control and a full audit trail of key activity. The system’s design eliminates wear-prone mechanical elements, contributing to long-term durability and reliability in demanding environments.
Administration is handled via TrakaWEB, a browser-based interface that consolidates oversight of multiple cabinets across a network. Administrators can manage access schedules, view event logs, export reports, and link Traka assets into broader electronic security management platforms via integration middleware.
Touch Pro cabinets can operate autonomously or be centrally managed. This allows the system to function in remote or constrained network environments while supporting full integration where required.
