Uniview 4K HD ColorHunter Omniview – Uniview’s IPC3K28SE-ADF28KMC-DL-I0 is a fixed turret network camera from the 4K HD ColorHunter Omniview Series, designed to provide 24-hour colour surveillance with a 180-degree panoramic view.
The camera uses a dual-lens splicing system to deliver a wide-angle perspective, and features an 8MP, 1/2.5-inch CMOS sensor capturing up to 4096 x 1860 pixels of resolution at 20fps. Performance in low light is enhanced by a minimum illumination of 0.0005 lux supported by integrated dual IR and white light sources, each with a 30-metre range. The camera’s 130dB wide dynamic range ensures visibility in high-contrast lighting.
Smart intrusion prevention capabilities are based on target classification, reducing false alarms by filtering out non-critical motion from sources like birds or headlights and focusing detection on humans, vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles/e-scooters. Intelligent functions include people flow counting and crowd density monitoring, supporting broader applications in high-traffic public environments. Smart detection covers line crossing detection, intrusion, area entry and exit, while basic detection includes motion, tampering, audio, and advanced motion analysis.
The camera integrates a built-in microphone and speaker, supporting two-way audio. Storage is managed with onboard microSD support for up to 512GB and network storage via ANR or NAS. Connectivity is via a standard RJ45 Ethernet port with PoE support, and the device is compatible with ONVIF profiles S, G, and T, as well as third-party software via API and SDK. Security features include HTTPS encryption, user authentication, TLS 1.2, and strong password enforcement.
Video streams are handled via dual-stream capability with support for H.264, H.265, MJPEG, and Ultra 265 compression formats. Advanced image functions include 2D/3D noise reduction, digital defog, Smart IR, backlight compensation, and HLC. An auto scene match function is available under WDR mode. The unit supports OSD overlays, up to 4 privacy masks, and region-of-interest streaming.
Physically, the camera has a metal housing with very solid ratings of IP67 against submersion and IK10 against impact, making it suitable for harsh environments. Operating temperature range is -30C to 60C, dimensions are 128.7mm diameter and 109.9mm height, with a weight of 0.86kg.
Surge protection is rated to 4KV, and certifications include CE, FCC, UL, and RoHS compliance and the camera’s configuration supports flexible mounting and adjustment across pan, tilt, and rotation axes.
