Verkada Makes Inc 2022 Best List – Cloud video provider, Verkada, which won a contract to provide CCTV for 316 JB Hi-Fi stores across Australia earlier in the year, has been named in the Inc. Best In Business list for 2022.

Verkada has 6 product lines, including video security cameras, access control, environmental sensors, alarms, and visitor and mailroom management, and the global market’s hunger for addressable devices is rapidly pushing annual turnover towards $US500 million, while a recent funding drive valued the company at $US3.2 trillion.
“We were founded in 2016 with the vision to modernize the world of physical security – one of the last industries to experience a migration from on-premise solutions to cloud-based software,” said Filip Kaliszan, co-founder and CEO, after the recent funding drive.
“We started with security cameras and an intuitive cloud-based platform, and in just 6 years, we’ve expanded to include five additional product lines that help enterprises to protect and manage their people and assets. This latest commitment of capital is further validation from investors that we are well positioned to capture the opportunity that lies ahead.”
The company said it will use the latest investment to fulfil its mission to ‘build the operating system for the physical world’ by enhancing its existing offerings and developing new product lines.
