A VIDEO surveillance system will be installed at Melville Senior Public High School in Perth, WA, after WA Govt went to tender for the installation last month.
The school, which has an enrolment of around 1000, made headlines around the world last year when a student's mother was video recorded attacking another student after an earlier fight at the school.
Opened in 1960, Melville Senior Public High School was the first public school in Western Australia to be designed by an independent architect.
The tender closes March 9. ♦
