Western Australia Police Force Regional Operation Group South seeks a complete upgrade of its CCTV system.

Created in 2004 the Regional Operations Group provides WAPOL with a specialist public order capability. The unit is split into 2 sub-units, North and South with locations in Neerabup, Warwick and Rockingham.

ROG’s main role is to assist police officers requesting backup when none is available locally, or as an immediate response to serious crime.

PERMACONN

Regional Operations Group officers undergo intensive public-order training and typically carry extra equipment whenever they are on duty. The group is now also issued with AR-15 assault rifles for counter-terrorism measures.

This tender is by invite only and closes on August 7 – more details here.
